In this episode, I have a conversation with Dr. Susan Rowland, author of her first in a series of novels. This one is called The Sacred Well Murders.
Dr. Rowland teaches on hybrid programs in Engaged Humanities, Creativity and Jungian & Archetypal Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. In her ten published books she has written about the psychology of the creative imagination, Jung, gender, and the arts. Her most googled book is Jung: A Feminist Revision.
For a decade Susan has been working on a project to examine feminine heroism as a path to cultural renewal. The Sacred Well Murders, is the first volume to be published. She says she’s always been fascinated by detective fiction, and now she’s achieving her life-long ambition to write mystery novels about undervalued women.
